How do I access SIPRI Yearbook Online?
 

Access is only available to users who have purchased the corresponding print edition of the Yearbook. In order to gain online access to other editions of the SIPRI Yearbook the user will need to purchase the corresponding print edition, please note that SIPRI Yearbook Online is only available for editions published from 2010 onwards.  

 
How do I get a username and password to access this resource?
 
This resource is password-protected for use by customers who have purchased the 2010 print edition of the SIPRI Yearbook. In order to access this resource, you will need to create a username and password when you create an account with us by registering the unique activation code. This only applies to editions published from 2010 onwards.
 
What is an activation code?
 
An activation code is available to every customer who purchases the corresponding print edition of the SIPRI Yearbook(this only applies to editions published from 2010 onwards). This enables users to register and choose their own password for access to the resource. The code you will receive will be a 16-digit number.
 
An activation code can only be used once, so it cannot be shared among colleagues.
 
To register, go to www.oup.com/sipriyearbookonline and follow the instructions there (have your activation code to hand – it is printed on a card bound into your print book).

You should log in with your existing account details. You will then be asked to provide the activation code for your new edition of the Yearbook. Your log-in details will remain the same.
 
Can institutions subscribe?
 
As an introductory offer, purchase of the 2010 Yearbook will give you institutional access as follows: Librarians, you will qualify for an institutional account with IP authentication if you have bought three copies of the yearbook; please email politics.uk@oup.com for details. This only applies to the 2010 edition of the Yearbook.

Do you provide MARC records?
 
MARC21 records for SIPRI Yearbook Online can be downloaded here.
 
To view or edit our MARC records you will need software which supports MARC21 format, such as MarcEdit, which is free to download.
