The Preparatory Committee for the 2020 Review Conference of the Parties to the 1968 Treaty on the Non-proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (Non-Proliferation Treaty, NPT) held the first of three planned sessions in Vienna on 2–12 May 2017.1 The session was chaired by Ambassador Henk Cor Van der Kwast of the Netherlands.2
